About Oil Storage Terminal
- Independent oil storage terminal.
- Approx 200,000 m2 land adjacent to the Khorfakkan highway and close to Port of Fujairah.
- Project Consultants for Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management - Mott MacDonald.
- Project to be executed in phased manner with a Master Plan for over 1 million cubic meters.
Phase I Plan
Phase 1 Plan has a total capacity of 425,000m 3 for Class 3 products and is scheduled for completion in mid-2011.
- Total capacity of 425,000m3 for Class 3 products with 17 tanks.
(ranging from approx 14,000m3 to 40,000m3).
- Fuel Oil (with heating & blending provisions), Gas Oil and Cutter Stocks.
- Connected by dedicated piping to Port of Fujairah Matrix Manifold for onward guaranteed connectivity to any of 9 berths on OT-1&2 .
- Piggable berth pipelines for complete product recovery.
- Berth pipeline flow rates of 3,000m3/hr.
- Simultaneous operations for Fuel Oil and Gas Oil:
- Import or export
- Inter Tank Transfers
- Blending
- Road Tanker dispatches through productwise dedicated truck gantry
- All tanks, structures and facilities designed in accordance with international standards and complying with local regulatory rules – API 650, NFPA 30, NFPA 70, etc.
- Emphasis on Environment, Safety and Health for both Design and operations.
- Tank spacing, Fire Fighting, electrical zone classification, escape routes for safe evacuation as per standards.
- HDPE liner for bulk storage area, Oil Water Separator for drainage system, concrete flooring for spill prone areas etc.
- Safety Showers, safe operating platforms, safety barriers & guards for machinery etc provided.
- Central Control Room with SCADA system for remote terminal operations.
- All utilities like hot oil heaters, laboratory and workshop.
Phase II Plan
Phase II plan has been planned for a capacity of 600,000m 3 to include provision for Class 1 and 2 products as well.

- Class 2 products like Jet A1
- Class 3 products like Fuel Oil, Gas Oil
